cafe la miell by suppose design office is located in the heart of niihama city in ehime.
the old cafe la miell was unable to accommodate large numbers of customers with its
seating capacity, so plans were made to open up a new cafe across the street that would
be able to seat eighty.

the client wanted a two story building and to have more parking but more than that they
wanted the building to be a landmark in the area.

for the design they proposed to make use of the fact that the site was - one meter lower
than street level and rather than a two story cafe, make a split level with floors at
the building's own base level and street level,
beams are placed in a rhythmic way which follows the two levels, and are held up with
steel and concrete posts spread out, creating a kind of dialogue between space and structure.
outside, pebbles are spread out on the beam slabs to match the landscape and the distinctive
shape.

david b smith gallery is currently showing the work of artist jason theilke to celebrate the opening of their
new location in denver’s lodo historic district. the show features a wide variety of thielke’s work which
uses architectural techniques to create interpretations of the human form. the artist’s work combines old
and new techniques layered to create his own personal figurative works. the pieces are made using laser
etching on wood and other materials. this exhibition examines the artist’s interest in behavioral juxtaposition
with individuals. this topic is represented within the works by combine flowing curves to represent natural
beauty and hard straight lines to represent intentional thought.

spanish firm moho architects have sent us in images of their project - media island
wifi pavillion they designed for miguel hernandez university campus in alicante, spain.

the building performs as a virtual interface providing public internet access and a singular
meeting spot for students to hang out and relax .the star/shaped pavilion is divided into
5 different spaces surrounding a central courtyard that guaranties maximum natural lighting
and ventilation. the island raises 1.5 meters from the natural level of the ground though an
white gravel landscape, enforcing the identity and singularity of the pavilion as an 'object trouve'
in the middle of the campus.

悉尼时间已经接近六一零时零分了，我要收起焦虑，集中精力，完成我的旅馆设计。

一首轻快的歌，舒服

结它起头，结它收尾，中段用轻快弦乐加节奏作为背景，期间点上几粒拨弦音，整首曲点到为止，干净利落。当然因为医生的曲写得简单流畅，淡妆式的编曲起了个锦上添花的作用。一直都觉得梅阿姨的声音和唱腔都蛮有个性的，还真没听过她唱那么轻快的歌；华星时期医生的声音很厚，很粗，很摇滚，印象中他华星的快歌都很“愤青”。这俩人竟然能磨合出这样一首轻松小品，应该和声线无关，跟emotion有关。说到词的话，其实比起夕爷那些绕啊绕的形而上词（如富士山下），我更喜欢像这首一样直白但不失含义的词（如Shall we Talk)。林夕现在的词越来越绕了，可能是要配合越来越泛滥的泽日生的古典小调，也可能是因为他越来越‘佛学’。但还是希望他能在填词方面偶尔能返璞归真，把写杂文的小幽默匀点到歌词上来，让我们这种小文青在直白的道理中满足一下。（虽然我蛮喜欢绕系列的‘不来也不去’）……

我的快乐时代会唱烂吗？

最近在网路上大把大把挥霍青春，今天算是醒了，没有前兆，只是一次网路上的小争吵，引出了思绪万千。

其实是用不着这么紧张，只不过是几天通宵上网，无心读书罢了，这有什么。对处在20出头这个阶段，还在读书，读喜欢的专业，有父母的经济保障，有友人的生活保障，多么安逸的青春啊，我就靠着这些现成的，每天只做一件事，享受我的快乐时代，真是遐意。是啊，青春总是遐意，没有过多的负担，理想幻想随便就来，未来让它顺其自然，谁不是这样，连陈奕迅都是这样。入行只为毫无代价唱最幸福的歌，唱我的快乐时代就是在唱青春的美好嘛。但多年后的今天他终于彻底懂了夕爷词里的暗刀时，他已经历了太多大悲大喜，他感叹快乐时代已唱烂。无忧无虑的快乐时代，看似美好，其实美好的背后处处是陷阱，掉进去了，现在的理想只是对未来的幻想罢了。

人生并非虚耗，怎能把快乐的时光全献给青春呢。青春不可太安逸，为了理想放弃些个享乐，一步一脚印，就可给未来多匀出更多的快乐时光。

刚看了篇卢广仲的采访，他轻描淡写地回应了有关他现场录音专辑的那场高端骂战（从他的言语来看，他比钟成虎大气多了），而让我印象最深的是他对早餐的尊重。卢队长应该是80后，听80后教导早餐的重要性会特别有效。因为80后把早餐当回事儿的很少，真当回事儿拿出来说的就是异类，我们这代人热爱与众不同，所以我们推崇卢广仲的早安晨之美，所以我们开始把早餐当成正经事儿了（我YY的卢广仲之歌的心理效应）

卢队长在访谈里说会来内地的早餐店宣传（同样方式在台湾有反响，似乎方大同还和他一起炸过油条），以他的人气，在他的教导下，全国各城市的大小早餐店将成为新一代的潮流圣地，正如当下的各款咖啡店（我YY的卢队长这首歌能产生的社会效应）。

我算是一个尊重早餐的80后了，所以卢队长的歌对我仅是警醒的作用。早安晨之美用早餐这个话题来说明了一句老话‘一天之际在于晨’。把晚上熬夜的精力分在早上，把黑夜里慌乱的思路提前12个小时慢慢地梳理，不仅能写一篇更好的Essay,还可以食多一餐靓饭。我确实是需要警醒的，记得快到交作业的日子——日夜颠倒，黑白不分，焦虑不堪，慌慌张张，那被卢艺人和周遭的健康人士称之为“正能量“的早餐，就沦为了火车站旁的一条寿司，或是一片干匹匹的吐司，或者直接成了午餐前的一杯水。随着作业量的加大，交作业的Deadline越来越密集了，我的正常早餐也越来越少，到了近段时间，我怀疑自己快得厌食症了。
